Unless I get to play with it at my local dealer's there's no way I'm gonna buy it based on some sample sounds. This is not the way to find out if the tool is any good for my mastering chain. It's too bad Creamware haven't come with a way to let us test the new plugins, like UAD or Powercore has it ...

Actually I couldn't care less about the maths behind all this, but recordings made in VDAT and in Cubase do sound different according to my subjective ear. I've yet to decide which one I like better, but I find VDAT a tad on the bright side, and maybe a little more defined which may or may not be ...

Kwild, you need to download the SDK agreement (http://www.planetz.com/forums/viewtopic ... &0&start=0), sign it and send to Creamware. It took just a couple of weeks in my case - sent the agreement on 16th, got SDK on 28th. But still can't play with it

IMO where Creamware has definitely failed is in marketing this platform, attracting serious users to it, who would be willing to pay for pro plugins available for the platform.
