Hi,

No probs here, running 2x PulsarII, 1xScope, 1x Powercore, and 1x UAD-1n on the same machine. Virus plugin sounds just like the hardware to my ears.

Unless I get to play with it at my local dealer's there's no way I'm gonna buy it based on some sample sounds. This is not the way to find out if the tool is any good for my mastering chain. It's too bad Creamware haven't come with a way to let us test the new plugins, like UAD or Powercore has it ...

Actually I couldn't care less about the maths behind all this, but recordings made in VDAT and in Cubase do sound different according to my subjective ear. I've yet to decide which one I like better, but I find VDAT a tad on the bright side, and maybe a little more defined which may or may not be ...

Second that. For me it's just a few minor niggles to be fixed - STM midi multichannel (a finer resolution would be better yet) for full control surface automation, and STS phase prob, and I'd be happy as can be.

One instance of P100, single masterverb Pro, Lexicon Core Studio verb through ADAT, Classicverb from Powercore. Haven't experimented much pushing to the extreme as I've got Powercore element just a week ago, mainly as I want to add Sony plugins later.

Hi,
I'm using Powerpulsar, 2 PulsarII, UAD-1 and Powercore element on the same machine, highest useable load was like 70% on SFP, 80% UAD-1, 70% Powercore. Beyond that it gets real slow. So Your 3 cards should be no problems at all.

Kwild, you need to download the SDK agreement (http://www.planetz.com/forums/viewtopic ... &0&start=0), sign it and send to Creamware. It took just a couple of weeks in my case - sent the agreement on 16th, got SDK on 28th. But still can't play with it .

Hi,

Actually I received it two days ago, but still can't use it, manuals on the CD are missing certain pdfs, can't even read the installation instructions, When I try to open it, the usual soft. registration window appears, but as I can't read any instructions, don't know if I should send the ...

IMO where Creamware has definitely failed is in marketing this platform, attracting serious users to it, who would be willing to pay for pro plugins available for the platform. It's beyond comprehension how such an excellent verb like P100 couldn't reach mere 200 copies in sales. Too sad, but it ...

Atomic,
What kind of a board are you using? I'm looking into some analog summing way as well. It's between an analog summing box (like Folcrom) or an analog mixer which would give some nice eq and preamps for tracking, though a decent one may be quite pricey.

You can't make full use of all those excellent control surfaces in the present state of STM mixers. Hopefully, this gets addressed by Creamware in the nearest future. I remember they once promised Mackie control support.
