another question :
when I open a second or third project after launching the batch file, do I stay in low priority ?

Do I have to launch the batch file each time I wanna use SFP ?

I can't find where I can manually change those sfp-priority settings ?
When I use the batch file you suggested -thanks, it's better now , does it become available for all future projects or may I launch it everytime I use SFP ?

In fact, sts 4000 never worked good. I've completly renewed my system but it's completely unusable...
Think I'll try Sandrob tip ... or buy Kontakt (very good stuff).

I can't install SFP 3.1 on my XP pro system.
I've updated the drivers of my pulsar 1 and srb2, I've downloaded the aspi 4.7 drivers and I'm admnistrator on the machine.
The first message is Cannot read script file 'PepSurface'. Then I must click on a thousand ones to get rid of messages...and ...

I've just found a beta driver for my midisport 8/8 to work in the serial manner...no more noise !
That is : I have that awful noise only when I use the usb connection...

For the moment I use Expert mode/normal1/Model3 (translation from french version...sorry but don't know in english). I don't have mouse and keyboard probs anymore.

try to change your priority settings in options/audio/system.
Much stable for me since I did it...hope this helps

It's difficult to describe a noise, but I'll go for your first description.
When I was under Win 98, I could lower the sound by tweaking from master to slave in pulsar.
Today, it's the same noise but only when the usb midi interface is open. It's a very high noise ...

I've just migrated to a new system :
Asus p4t-e, P4 1.8, 512 Rdram, Windows XP pro, pulsar 1 and SRB 2.
I've got a big prob : pulsar alone makes no noise, but as soon as I open Cubase, I hear a high noise (digital ?).
The problem seems to come from the midisport 8x8 USB interface. When it is ...

It's a crazy thing...I did'nt notice it cos I was using the pulsar mixer (pro pack) till now...
It used to work in the past... ?

on their "list of compatible devices and programs for POCKET DIAL", doepfer say that feedback is possible within pulsar...

Are you sure your piano samples are not looped ?
I own a few pianos samples and they are all looped...

Thanks Sub but the loop is perfect when played at the right pitch. If the sample is "transposed" in the keygroup, looping is not correct...
I would like to find a solution...
A question : when the sample is played higher or deeper than the right pitch, does the loop move inside it?
