I'm trying to set up my sts-5000 with logic's mixer. Mabe I'm stoopid but I can't get the DX/VST/Logic plugins to work.

This is what i do:
1.First i set up all my sts outputs in the EASI inputs + EASI output to sound out.

yes, and with logic live input monitoring, you can use DX/VST/Logic (aka native) plugins on those live inputs! It's quite amazing.
