I just read this thread, and I know this guy!
He bought an EMU sampler from me last summer (2002) via PayPal and tried to use PayPal's chargeback features to rip me off, after paypal froze him because of other fraudulant accounts he had active. I got my money back via PayPal after 6 ...

They recently made the old CW forums read-only, thereby forcing everyone to use thier new forum.

I had luck doing this once like this:
-Uninstall any plugins that might have memorized the path.
-Move the junk to a new folder, leaving the Cubase plugins behind (if you've installed all 3rd party to the default Cubase dir, thereby merging them all, you might just want to uninstall ALL of the 3rd ...
