He bought an EMU sampler from me last summer (2002) via PayPal and tried to use PayPal's chargeback features to rip me off, after paypal froze him because of other fraudulant accounts he had active. I got my money back via PayPal after 6 ...

Have you considered an add-on? Like the Kenton Control Freak Studio. You could run a keyboard thru it and use it's fancy sliders and programmable buttons.

Actually, I was always quite suprised they didn't censor it. Sure, it broke constantly, and the search never worked, and it was terrible, etc, etc. But they never censored ...

They recently made the old CW forums read-only, thereby forcing everyone to use thier new forum.

So here I am, saying hi, because this is where I am moving. <deletes link to CW forums>

Actually from what I can tell, it kind of reminds me of when emagic announced they are dropping Windows support ...

I had luck doing this once like this:

-Uninstall any plugins that might have memorized the path.
-Move the junk to a new folder, leaving the Cubase plugins behind (if you've installed all 3rd party to the default Cubase dir, thereby merging them all, you might just want to uninstall ALL of the 3rd ...
