Just one thought: Shouldn´t it be easy to get those thieves?
All CW-boards have a serialnumber, and you need it to register anything. If anyone tries to update anything, or wants to get a new device registered, CW could get them. If they work together with their users, and i think they´ll do that ...

Hi Grok!

Hmm, that´s not too nice... i would like to use that 96kHz-feature actually...
I wonder if any other user can confirm that a bit more complex setup WORKS at 96 or 48kHz!? Is there a workaround?
BTW, i´ve got myself a good lawyer (friend of mine) that tries to kick CW a little bit - maybe ...

I´ve experienced another one quite like this one in 96kHz - I just have to use 2 MasterVerb Pro and an Optimaster at one time, and i´ll get an DSP communication error or so. Seems like the DSP-timing on 96kHz is a bit hard to organize...

Reminds me a bit on the german election "warfare"...
But honestly: Now, on my PC, the only Microsoft product is use is the OS (Win98SE), nothing else, because i really dislike MS Softs and because there are always a lot of (professional) alternatives. So if would go and buy a Mac, be sure i won´t go ...

To Thalamus: Yes, you´ve certainly got a point, but the comparison with Cubase and Scope/SP is a bit unfair, as you´ll have to pay a LOT more for Scope. The difference between Scope and Pulsar is too big, i think sub is right here. Take a look at the secondhand-prices of CW products. It´s VERY hard ...

Yeah, the minimax rocks, the sound is very fat. Combined with the vinco - really useable. Do they plan to include the vinco or the minimax into the Scope-Pack? I hope so. And, if someone wishes he had more power, just buy the Scope - it´s not that expensive, because you can get them second hand ...

Thanks for that info, it´s a good site, but one thing is missing: A test for OS-X. Okay, i don´t expect a big change there, but who knows... another thing is that the PlatinumVerb should be available in an AltiVec-optimized Version meanwhile, i would like to see some tests about then. But one thing ...

Hi !

I was reading through a lot of benchmark tests about the good old PC/Mac Discussion. During these tests, Apple always talks about how much faster their G4 shall be, but they don´t give a single benchmark. I´ve found a user that did that on his PowerBook G4/800Mhz and he reached his limit in ...

Heavy things. My first thought was: "I don´t like this." .
And of course, it´s a bit arrogant from apple to do such a move. "Whatever - maybe i´ll switch to another sequencer now" was the second thought. But then i have to admit that both of them - apple AND emagic - have some big things in common ...

Hey, nothing against your fun - but seriously:
NO company can do this. You´re paid for your product AND your service. A good product is a product you can rely on, and because (almost) no software based product is bug free, the only way to ensure this is giving service. And now they´re not even doing ...

Yeeees, it´s true. You will - according to the tape you get to hear if you try to call them in germany - get NOONE for support or things like that.
I´ll leave this uncommented this time.

Hi!
Just another question about the A16:
Did anyone notice that if you send any good old normed 0dB (about 1,5V) to the A16 you won´t get more than 1 or two LEDs blinking, means the dB-meter on the A16 isn´t correct.
I´ve tested two devices, but anyone please confirm this if you can.

Thanks again for your work! When i´ve got mine, i will try to do the same thing for Logic Audio - i think it should be possible, Logic has very powerful transformer modules...
