Hey everybody,

Due to changing musical interests, I've sold most of my studio gear. All I have left to get rid of is the PC DAW which used to house my Pulsar (already sold). Here are the specs:

Stealth midnight blue 4U rackmount case
Asus CUSL2 mobo
Intel Pentium III 700mhz CPU
512 mb PC133 SDRAM ...

Alright, I actually reinstalled everything cuz I upgraded to XP. I still get the same problem. The buzz tone is emitted from the ASIO driver at random moments. I can stop it by launching Logic (or any other app that uses the ASIO driver). But then, sometimes it will start when Logic is running, then ...

Well, it can't be feedback because it happens with the DirectSound driver as well as ASIO. The only software that uses dsound on my computer is WinAmp...

I sometimes get a very annoying and loud tone from the DirectSound and ASIO drivers. There is no way to stop it but closing the application using the driver, or if no application is using it, to restart Pulsar. It happens most often, but not exclusively, when using Logic. The tone sounds like a ...

Hey,

What you want to do is split your signal into dry and wet. Dry is untouched throughout the patch. Wet is sent through a delay unit (which is set to 100% wet). Add any effects or filters you want before before you mix the ouput of the delay back with the input signal (through the xmod/feedback ...

How hard would it be to code a Sample Oscillator for ModV2 that has dynamic LoopStart and LoopLength parameters that could be changed while the sample/loop is playing without interruption?

I love the effect of shortening a loop so much you get a tone then slowing it back down and elongating it so ...

Hi everybody

I remember seeing people mention this a while ago and I was wondering if anybody had found a solution. I get clicks in the audio output of mod2 projects when I try to change the delay time of a delay unit or the ratio of a frequency divider while a sound is playing.

Myself, I would *kill* for a audio-to-midi device in Pulsar. I play the violin and so far the only devices that can track pitch in real time are the Zeta Synthony (~1300$USD) (in conjunction with the Zeta electric MIDI violin (1000+$USD) and Max/MSP, which is 300$, but runs on Mac. And I have a PC ...

I want to have a LFO trigger a sample. Therefore, by tweaking the rate of the LFO, I could control how fast a sample is repeated. Simple. How can I do this in ModV2?

Thanksguys

Why would you want to rectifiy an audio signal? (Which is, if I understand correctly, "moving" it all above 0.0v[creating a huge DC offset?])

?

Thanks

I connect the note output of a MVC to the KeyF input of a Combfilter module, yet the cutoff frequency won't change when I hit different notes on my controller. Keyf range is set to 100 (or 200 even, whatever). Midi data IS getting through, I have a midi monitor open.

Anybody else had this problem?
