addendum to my last post: at this moment i do not have a samplerate at all!
In samplerate setting it does not connect to any samplerate. Have checked connections, restart computer, it doesn't matter. And no, there's no host application running, only Scope. Anyone had this before? My system worked ...

No, I know that doesn't work unless you have "release ASIO driver in background" ticked. I started Scope, switched to 48k, then started Wavelab and played the audio file, it did play, meters were going, but no sound. This DID work in 44.1. After about 5 times it would finally work... strange...

lost audio at 48k

Anyone any idea why i can't play back audio at 48k...
Scope is set to 48k samplerate with Wavelab playing a 48k track... the strange thing is that it does play, the meters are going, but no audio output. If I switch to 44.1k and play a 44.1k file there's nothing wrong...

I've worked on a 48k ...

ASIO difficulties

Just installed Scope 4.5 on a new PC.
Now there's the problem that I cannot get Cubase and Wavelab to run on ASIO2 while standalone synths like FM7 or Massive will run. Whenever i start Cubase or Wavelab the programs are busy initialising plugins and a lot of other dll's and stuff and ultimately ...

Thanks for the replies.
There is an option in the registry to do this, to change drive letters, but there's a big chance that Windows will not boot after this. So be careful.

Golden rule when reformatting C is to first uplug the power of the other drives in your system (as I have learned).

Hi Guys,

Anyone know what's the best way to change a drive letter from my system disk from G to C? I had to do a format of my C drive. Already unplugged other drives, restarting, but it won't go to C.

Anyone know of a workaround?

Cheers.

That is: the MT4 is connected with USB to the PC and not via the Scope midi in. You could ofcourse try another USB midi device as well.

Sorry to see you have problems. I had a similar situation where I installed/ uninstalled everything untill I was ready to throw the PC out of the window. Untill Andre Dupke told me to it could be midi related. In the end I solved it by not connecting a master keyboard to the midi in but connecting ...

Hi Royston,

Once again, thanks for the trouble.
Installed everything again on a 2nd system disk which works and made a clone to the first one after formatting. Having two system disks seems like a good thing. At least I know that one is always working. You don't need system restore that way which ...

Thanks again for the replay!
I've been having problems for a couple of weeks now, not only this but also freezes with SX and Wavelab not recording properly but with a lot of crackles. System is well tweaked, cards are properly seated, everything on it's own IRQ etc. Even did a complete reinstall on ...

Didn't do the job.
Very strange thing.
Guess it's a complete reinstall over again.
It also seems that my USB standard and USB enhanced controller switched IRQ address.
very strange.

Anyway, thanks for the cooperation royston.

Andre.

Hi royston,

Thanks for your reply!

I'll try your hints and get back as soon as I,ve tried it.
Fingers crossed, I'm getting tired of the blue screens.
However, there seems to be something wrong with my USB in/out. Everytime I insert the SX dongle or something else, an MT4, the blue screen appears ...
