Scope next to graphics card (is this OK?!)

I've finally upgraded my motherboard and I am now running Windows 7. I bought the last motherboard that I could find with three PCI slots (Gigabyte GA-790XTA-UD4). All is well. The Sonic Core software installed very easily and put everything into Cubase so I was up and running much faster than I ...

Hey, I'm looking for a good hard rock guitar modeler for select Power Chord and other Rock elements to my otherwise non-rock sounding music. Is the Creamware Six String the way to go for us Scope users or are the current Guitar Plug Ins further ahead? Any recomendations would be great! Also if there ...

Hey, I have a question. I want to adjust the EQ on individual channels of the 2448 mixer using assignable knobs on my MIDI control surface. Once I open the EQ window, I cannot assign the knobs within that window the same way I can using everything else Scope (right click on the target fader or knob ...

Hey, how about a Mic Preamp for vocals? Is there already one? I know Wolf made a Phono Preamp, so if that's possible, a Mic Preamp should be possible.

Hey there Scope Developers! I need a very simple, but extremely important device. I am a DJ. I have an A16 Ultra. I want to use Scope as a DJ mixer, as well as my studio rig. DJ mixers are notorious for being cheap, noisy, and full of crosstalk. The sound quality of the A16 is amazing. What I really ...

I have a very basic question about the STM 2448 mixer. I have an A16 Ultra. I have a module going in (in 11). I have an effect connected (in 14, out 14). What I want to do is route the module into the effect using the Scope routing window. What I think I need to do is send the channel on the STM ...

I just bought OSIRIS XP to archive my DJ Vinyl collection, but I can't find the manual. I looked through the Creamware site and couldn't find it. Can someone please post a link so that I can get to it?

silly question maybe...does the step sequencer function work with Cubase or similar? If so, how would that work basically?

I have an Intel 865PERL motherboard, what is the best PCI Latency Timer setting in the BIOS? It defaults at 32. My options are 32, 64, 96, 128, 160, 192, 224, and 248. Right now it works with no problems, I just want the best setting.

I just bought the tape delay. Very good job over all! It is going to take some time to fully explore this one (so many editing parameters). Well worth the price. In the majority of things that I have planned, this is going to totally fit right in. The one thing that I really wish had been done ...

I want to send a single audio track from Cubase SX2 into a line in my Scope mixer for using scope processing effects. What is the routing procedure (if that is possible in SX2). I only need to use it for one stereo pair (other than the main stereo pair that defaults into Scope). I know SX3 has more ...

really short simple question. I am in the middle of setting up my new PC with two scope cards (both 14 dsp). I remember hearing that I only need one s/tdm cable to connect the two cards. Is that what people are doing? Is there an advantage to using two or more (since there are three places to put ...

I guess I'm really old school, but I prefer my old Yamaha NS10's with a Hafler amp. There is a reason for every major studio to have a set of NS10's on the console for final mixdowns. The reason is: THEY SUCK! If you can make your mix sound good on them, it will sound good anywhere. Be careful ...

This may seem like a dumb question, but what is SDK? Is it a new operating system? Is it an update? Please explain since I have a 14/15 DSP card (actually two of them)which qualifies me for whatever this is.

It also looks like only 4 DSP's (a whole card for only one synth). Not worth the PCI slot.

He did a Prophet 5 repro why not a 808, 909 repro? The entire Scope platform is all about repro's. The majority of the stuff available is copies of late 70's early 80's synths.

I'd love a really good modeled tape delay, for creamware or VST. It would be great if you could select how "worn" the tape was. Basically I used to have a tape delay, and I liked the obvious disintegration thing, but I also noticed that it changed as it was used over time (months later). The ...
