PS I'm working in xtc mode

I have 2 Pulsar 2's and all's stable, BUT I can't get a signal in or out of the second card through the analogue connections.

I've 'activated' these inputs and outputs within cubase, which seems to 'see' them quite happily, but when I present a signal to Pulsar 2(2)inputs, no signal appears at the ...

I've 2x Pulsar 2s with cubase sx3 in XTC mode. All very stable (after days and days!)but no matter what ULLI setting I use in cubase control panel the input and output latencies each remain at 24.694 - too long.

I'm sure I've had it down to 4ms at some points in the last few days - and I haven't ...

I've finally got my PC stable, Scope great, SX3 fine, but after install I can't access many XTC effects and instruments.

I think I'm enetering the wrong two pathways at install of Scope 4.

What are these supposed to be? (They're not well labelled or differentiated).

Is the STS3000 the same as the volksampler?

I've just added a luna 2 to 2 x Pulsar II's. All is working well (all DSPs and i/os showing) BUT I can't get STS recognised in XTC. I can find a STS3000.dev file but not a dll - is this the reason? (I am using the creamware version of powersampler beta version from the website)

Yeah - but STS3000 isn't showing at all in cubase as an XTC option...

Bet you know the answer........

The cards are OK (12 dsps showing, bus for each card's in/out pair set up in SX, mixer channels showing)

BUT

2 strange symptoms:

A. When I route output to 'Stereo Out 2', nothing (but a little noise) appears from ...

It strikes me that IF the

-XTC fx are disgregarding track bpm

-keep reverting to these apparent default values (of 25 and 163 or whatever)

Then it must be feeding off something - even if that's just coded defaults ...

I now have evrything working great (XP pro + SX2 + 2x Pulsar 2s).

BUT.......

If I try to change field values (say bpm in XTC Multitap), the 'text editor' (box) in the app skin won't take the new value, and then does this strange alternating between 25 bpm and 163 (or whatever), not ...

I know the steinberg line is that this won't run.......but will it? Anybody tried it?

If impossible - which of XP or 2000 is better?

1. Yep - XTC fx work fine as inserts but not sends - Thank you! My XTCis are fine (as long as I change ULLI settings and back again each session)

2. Would SX2 give me working XTCfx as sends?
Any other advantages (always reluctant to 'upgrade' unless good reason.)

3. Does the 'XTC delay module ...

I think software mon is ON.

Someone told me that the XTCfx always have delay (Seq>Card>Seq) but that the trick is to fiddle with the routing so you can't hear the original signal, but

a. I don't know how to do this and

b. If I could I worry I'd get a clean ...

Yeah - That'll provide a botchy workaround for one or two XTCfx, but isn't really solving it - though I appreciate your suggesting it.

I still need to change the Pulsar routing to NOT HEAR the original signal, I think, so my original questions remain - anyone? C'mon you know you know the answer...

I'd appreciate someone taking pity and helping with what must be a simple thing.....
