I would say CPU speed has more impact on how low latency you can get than the amount of RAM.

Before I had a P2 450 and could get 13 ms stable with no pops and cracks, lowering latency to 7 ms gave some pops and cracks (this puts more load on the CPU, check the CPU ...

Dont know actually why I thought one would gain any DSP power by inceasing pci bus speed, maybe I for a twisted moment thought the Sharcs run at a frequency ...

What is the bus speed for that setting,
are you gaining any DSP power?

Like 25% extra bus speed, gives you 25% extra DSP power?
