Re: alcohol cleaners for scope cards??
Alcohol is good for cleaning the dust and dirt off. Try using deoxit gold afterwards. I had problems with my 3x pulsar 2 boards (and sync card) about 4yrs ago, rock solid ever since. Another recommendation is to get a fan for the cards, no doubt cooling will increase the life of the cards. Add some ...

Re: Robustness of V5 ?
I think the new drivers may have solved my blue screen crashes - the crashes appear to only occur when i use the onboard sound card (realtek) at the same time with scope, eg. watching digital tv or divx movie. Was playing around with SFP5 for several hours last night with a divx movie playing in the ...

V5 - adding new devices? (OXE)
Hi,
I've got some plugins in oxe (spl attacker, pro one, etc etc), how do i add/install these under v5? I've completely deleted my old v4.5 install so i cant access the old plugin dev/pre files. Any suggestions (apart from uninstalling v5 and installing v4.5 again)????

The one thing i want fixed is the annoying 'save project' prompt when you exit (pops up even after you save the project and want to exit). S|C please dont treat me like an idiot...

Re: SFP5 - New features, fixes, bugs?
This version of SFP5 is only a pre-release, consider it as a beta/test version. The full release should probably have xtc back and up. I bet they made the decision to release a 'unpolished' version to kept the SC/planetz fans 'happy' for a bit to buy more time....

bugger.
i'm experiencing the disappearing mod cables like most of you guys. My miniscope doesnt have a background image too.
Looks like SFP5 RC isnt quite ready yet. Lets hope S|C actively looks at this thread and implements bug fixes for the full release.

Re: SFP5 - New features, fixes, bugs?
just received my keys :)
So far i've noticed:
- New setup program, looks like it's based on INNO setup.
- updated drivers, v5.0.0.44 (not too sure about technical changes).
- new interface skin, looks more decent now, easier on the eyes.
- 2 versions of lightwave and six-string (stock, and v5 ...

SFP5 - New features, fixes, bugs?
Hi all,
Now that SFP5 is released and people are starting to get keys, what's new in SFP5? What fixes have been implemented? And have you spotted any bugs (old or new).
I dont have keys yet so i cant contribute yet, oh well

Re: SCOPE v5 PCI RC is available!
Are these problems on boxes without SFP4.5 - i.e. fresh install windows?
Could it be due to the MS libraries it installed?
Damn... I'll test once i get my keys.... Hopefully it will work.

For some reason i'm starting to think S|C is the 'duke nukem forever' of the audio industry - Vaporware products perhaps?
Maybe the S|C crew are too busy with crack, hookers and World of Warcraft.

bloody oath, are you serious? are the keys still going to be processed manually by a single guy (ralf)? You got to be kidding me. Geez, what happens if there's a massive rush of 1000 email requests, i'm sure he has more better things to do than process keys. Heaven's sake, it's 2009, shouldnt there ...
