and i would, but i just don´t get it...
I just uninstalled cubase/scope and did a fresh install, cause i had some strange error messages.

Ok, fresh start.
I download the das mixer
I rename it to .mdl
Place it in the devices/mixer folder
Load it in my xtcproject and make connections
Close and save ...

this sounds wonderful. Didn´t get it to work though. I tried the 2448 and the one you linked above.
I save while the window is open, close sfp and start cubase.
I don´t see the mixer anywhere...
does the mdl need to be at any special place?

Yes, i already had that, and it´s working.
For playing the synths in direct mode, i discovered that i need midi drivers in the project file...
Apparently it´s only possible to play the synth from the hardware midi source of polsar?

Couse i have everything connected to another midi interface right ...

I have my latency set to 23mils, so it does make a difference...
I have to check that module. It´s called direct play?

Direct monitoring of inputs already does work, but i´m not hearing the plugins loadet, only the input. Maybe i have to change something in cubase for that...

I mix analog, connecting to scope with 18 analog chanells.
I switched to xtc recently, everything is ok, only that i can´t direct play my synths (the button is dead, no midi connected...)

what are the difference between those 10 different types of asio source/dest?
I currently use plain asio source/dest. and everything is working fine, even if i record in 24bit. what are all the other types for? do they sound better?

Thanks alot. what would the world be without people who share some ideas. 14 channel are enough, your right, more has been done with less. how do you connect your masterkeybord? is there no unwanted midi feedback? mine only sends on chanel 1, so i guess ishould connect it to cubase first and rout it ...

where do you connect your remote device? pulsar midi in or sequencer (cubase sx?) channel via midi interface? In that case, i guess the channel has to be set ready to record all the time? Sorry for asking stupid, but i have no idea how the whole thing works

Houw do you image your hd? it can´t be just a copy paste thing. I got one hd with 2 partitions, the first containing only the Os. programs and audio are on the 2nd partit. Not very smart i guess...

I did post the song because I was writing about that guitar-amp-as-a-soundtool-thing. Somehow gives you some non cumputer sound.

Thank you, but it didn´t help. I did a lot of un/reinstalling these days, I deleated every file in the registry named scope, creamware or asio after uninstall. No use. do i need a new os?

yes i do. it contains scope.sys, scopewdm.iff and Owscopeprop.dll.

I had accidently uninstalled scope. After reinstalling scope4 and cubase sx there is no asio-scope driver in cubase anymore.
In my registry there is no entry about asio-scope driver (hklm/software/asio).
