If you are making a lot of samples yourself, then take a look at SampleRobot. This cheap little program automates all sampling functions, even if you are sampling acoustic instruments: http://www.samplerobot.com

Well, my case too was always open and I still needed the extra fans to clear my problems. At least try it before sending the card back to CW (fortunately a new fan will ...

Well, I assume you checked your system for any IRQ sharing and you connected both boards with the appropriate S/TDM cables.

You could try to carefully unscrew the outputboard from the pulsar that is causing the trouble, check for loose contacts and put the two together again.

Did you already ...

Check your IRQ settings. After a BIOS update it's possible you are sharing IRQ's now. And change your cset.ini to:

[Host-Config]
Numboards=3
Board0=Host

[board0]
boardid=0
[board1]
boardid=1
[board2]
boardid=2

Try to change the order of the board ID's if your problem still excists. I really don't ...

Astroman, are you saying that EarlyFirst isn't selling anymore? Because I think these reverbs (especially the bigger ones) are wonderful. I'm not quite shure which one to choose, but I definately want to buy one. I just don't know where to find the guy...

I'm interested in buying one of EarlyFirst reverbs, but somehow I cannot reach him. His website http://www.innerverse.com/earlyfirst/default.asp is still online, but the Purchase page is outdated and his emailaddress doesn't excist anymore.

Who knows where to find Paul alias EarlyFirst?

I think I solved my problem. And for those who experience likewise problems, here might be the awnser: COOLING.

My system hosts three Pulsar boards and together with a UAD-1 card and the heat of the CPU, videocard, HD's etc... etc... my PC ran really hot. I already had the top removed from the 19 ...

Are you using more than 1 Pulsar board? And did you manually change the sequence of the boards in cset.ini? Then try it again without that. It worked for me and BLUEmotion in this thread:

Thanks for your reply. Yes, I switched my A16 to Master. Slaving to 44.1 is no problem, but 48 kHz is messed-up.

I'm beginning to think something's wrong with my Z-Link board. When I install only one of my three boards, the system works fine. My two Scope Professional boards together, equipped with ...

My system isn't clocking to 48k anymore. Wether I change it to Master or Slave, my mousepointer keeps changing between the arrow and the hourglass. The LED indication in the system settings shows 48k and my A16's perfectly follow and lock at 48k, but the Scope software doesn't seem to accept it ...

Yep. No audible changes, just an incorrect graphic. Try it yourself with a noise-generator: make one of the Q-settings very narrow, change channels, go back and see the narrow Q changed in a very wide one. Look at it's value-box and you'll see it's still the amount you entered. Click it and enter ...
