After having a look at fruity loops I just loved the ease of changing samples rather than having to go an make a new akai program. So I thought, arr I remember this free device for some time back that might allow me to do a simular thing with my usual sequencer....

The only thing I can think, is that they are scared they wont be able to make any money out of their synths if they opened it up to the masses.
But then again... if there were more quality (if there are lots some will be duff but some will be amazing) synths/effects they may attract more people to ...

hmm this is a bit worrying. I have been using a pulsar2 in a pii 266, 198Mb (yeah v. lowly I know) and was hoping when I up grade (soon methinks) all will be well at low lactency. Cubase5 seems fine with 25ms under my setup. I tryed lower settings, just for a laugh, and wasn't too suprised when all ...
