maybe i got the solution for my problem.
in an other thread ( Pulsar 1 & Windows XP & Cubase SX 3 seems instable ) the same system and problem has been posted.

the solution was a midi interface. so i give it a try and let u know if its workin.

i am using the roland xp 50 and have the similar computer

so i will buy a midi-interface too, if you say this solve the problem.

it would be great to make music again.

which masterkeyboard do u have and which usb interface have you bought?

how can i change the irq of my agp gfx-card in windows xp? and i am little bit confused about the standard pc. so i have to reinstall windows to have this mode?

when i use the midi interface of my powersampler (scope 4.0) then my pc freezes, sometimes after 5 min, sometimes after hours.
I have tried a lot of things:
- all Settings of Pci Latency
- disconnected all pci cards
- deleted all unnecessary processes
- Midi Filter (just note on/off)
