Re: Luna II Sfp 4.0 lost key !
However you have probably picked the worst time for this as there's this little thing called Christmas interfering with normal work practices, you may find some delay in receiving keys, but you will get them.
eheh yeah,I forgot to write the sfp 4.0 key on my manual.... damn I'm sure I had a ...

Luna II Sfp 4.0 lost key !
Hey there,I've been using SFP 4.0 in my pc for some years now,but today I decided to format my music pc to clean it.
I have all my keys printed on the Luna II manual, but I wasn't aware that the SFP 4.0 key is not printed there....
where can I find my keys ?
If i remember correctly,on the soniccore ...

Re: scope vs sequencer mixer regarding sound
Yeah, one test is to run your mix out of your DAW, through Scope i.e. 4896 mixer to a stereo mix, and RECORD this back into a separate channel in your DAW host.
Check the quality of sound compared to rendering a stereo mix directly out of your DAW.
It may surprise you.

VOLKSZAMPLER setup.exe crashes
Hi,I've just discovered that I had to download VOLKSZAMPLER from creamware homepage (as it never came with the SFP installer in my LUNA 2 I had always erraneously thought that the S/N on my manual was a mistake). So i downloaded the setup from creamware webpage, but when i enter the serial number it ...

Why I love scope
I know I might state the obvious here, but I've just realized something and I'd like to hear other opinions too :)
I have been using Luna 2 for simple recording / mixing ,and it's been since 2004 now. I use Cubase 5,and I have tried an enormous amount of EQs and COMPS. NONE of them can even touch ...

Re: BEST DAW FOR SCOPE
I've been using Samplitude for about 13 years now.
Samplitude loves Scope. Rock solid and everything actually works
Greg
I second that Greg.
I have Cubase, Reaper, Record and Samplitude.
My preference nowadays is Sam with Record/Reason by rewire.
I suspect (nothing to prove this) that ...

Re: BEST DAW FOR SCOPE
I think software developers are geniuses.
As smart as Cellular manufacturers...
Where else can you release products that when they don't work, you can blame the PC, or the weather and yet still get paid...?
ProTools 10 is being cheered on as a new breakthrough because it now has realtime volume ...

Re: connecting an external mixer to Luna2
Ok guys thx ! That sounds very doable to me. But wouldn't I have 2 L and R signals at this point, that i cannot PAN ? Because in the first days, when i was using a normal stereo jack with luna,i had exactly this problem....the guitar was on the LEFT and there was NO WAY of putting it in the middle :D ...

connecting an external mixer to Luna2
First of all,I have to say that I am a bit handicapped when it comes to technical stuff.... it took me a year to understand how to work with Luna2 :D now the question : i was using Luna2 mostly for guitar purposes, but now I would like to play guitar and sing thru scope at the same time....problem is ...

exporting from cubase preserving effects in Scope Mixer
I apologize if this question has been asked a million times,as i imagine, but I've recently noticed that i NEED to use Scope effects compared to Vsts, because the sound is just a million times better (Ex: PEQ4 on scope master, couple dBs tweak and the mix sounds AMAZING,do it with cubase's EQ = shit ...

Re: little headroom in cubase
I'm not the most brilliant soul in math (so I lean a bit far out of the window...), but one thing is frequently overlooked:
floating point values are able to describe a single(!) data element with astronomical precision, but completely fail to apply that to a continous numeric range.
That's the ...

Re: little headroom in cubase
I understand that hardware might have "additional headroom", my question was rather "why has cubase so little headroom compared to other daws ?" and i'm not asking this because i want louder tracks,i'm not complaining about that.I'm asking why the sound become so muffled and compressed in cubase,to ...
