I always record at the lowest speed available in any given recorder, unless I'm in a hurry. But then I do not record that many discs.

I think the huge display and upright positioning are just for showing purposes. I'd find perfect for working a "simple" 24" screen lying flat on the table, much like any real desktop.

I work as a computer animator and I'm sure this technology would be so much enjoyable to work with. Grab a ...

hehe, that's familiar. I've got an 80's jazz chorus-120 too. It resonates when you move the amp around. It sounds decent but not very flexible, one knob only :)

If you forced a Standard PC XP install, you may need to go to Control Panel > Add new hardware, and install a device called NT APM legacy (or similar name), then you can activate APM in the energy options, the computer will be able shut down completely by itself. Google for APM legacy if you need ...

maybe a midi loop? midi feedback will eat your cpu and make everything crawl.

In the file C:\WINDOWS\win.ini logic stores what midi ports are available. By default it sends sync data through all outs and listens to sync on the inputs too. That's bad if you've got an output wired (by cable or ...

Hi! In C:windowswin.ini Logic stores some lines with the list of midi ports it uses. Try deleting those lines and relaunch Logic.

It looks like this, one line for each port.

[Logic]
MidiIn_(name of midi in device)=1
MidiOut_(name of midi out device)=7

BTW setting any of those 1's or 7's to 0 will ...

What I found really smart about katana making was the how final cooling was made. First the metal would be hammered and bent over itself again and again, to make the blade sort of laminated steel, the more times the better. I 'd say that's why making them took so long.

And when shaped into the ...

I think it actually isn't so out of this world. 39 megapixels gives roughly a 6000 by 6000 pixel image. Many decent "old" film cameras can give higher definition. Proper optics with adecuate film can do wonders .

Nice tip Nestor!

Shroomz I understand you may feel a deep grief after the harassment you've been through. So it may actually be a good idea that you take a break and settle until you can be sure that grudge or whatever will not condition you here. Then you will come back fresh to our delight!

But by removing any ...

I'd rather interpret the fact that scope4live shares his findings here as more of a helping hand to Planet Z-ers than any intention to hurt anyone, whether they ripped off another musician or are just not announcing their goods properly. Not even CW as cards lying unused sell no plugs =)

Welcome back Nestor! I've heard the stones are nowhere near as they were originally, that the whole thing was altered (maybe even transported?) for aesthetic's sake by some archeological genius of the 19th century. Is it true?

Hi, from the Logic FAQ:

6.27 When I hit 'record', Logic takes very long before it starts recording (PC)

This delay happens when you mix NTFS and FAT32 partitions in certain combinations.. Convert all of your drives to NTFS and you shouldn't have this problem anymore. Then Win98 can't read those ...

Astro, I'd rather say they got exausted, that kind of defense is hard to sustain for 90 min. Just look how many more faults and yellow cards they started getting as they couldn't run as fast. And I guess they are more interested in beating Ucrania (which they are competing with for second place in ...
