im not buying these explanations at all...
1st off, if licensing fees were "so" outrageous, then DVD players wouldnt be 100 bucks
2nd, these are "pro-audio" cards, and absolutely have enough horsepower to encode and decode surround 5.1, 6.1, 7.1 etc...and, again, if my consumer reciever can up ...

upgrading? well im looking for 2x more of the original pulsars with 4-dsp's 20 in/ 20 outs... with the RCA (not XLR) cabling...
AND if you got it, the daisy chain STDM? cable...
im not a musician or anything, i need the I/O's and 12 DSPs total ought to be enough to encode/decode 5.1 ...
