Thanx for the tip, Subhuman!
Will give it a try, since I don't need more than 16 channels either.

Same here.
When trying to use Sonar with a Pulsar I, I can see 2 midi ports, but none of them receive any data from my keyboard.

When I connect Midi source -> Bluesynth, blusynth -> BM -> analog out I can hear the synth play (from within my projectwindow).

When I connect sequencer source ...

Same here.
When I place a wav dest/source in my project & load up Sonar it crashes and shows me the infamous blue screen (k_mode exception not handled -> scope.sys) followed by a memory dump & reboot.

I don't think it's card related positioning, because I have only one audiocard installed (plus I ...

First of all I fully agree with Subhuman.
Besides getting a PIII 700E/750E you can also buy a Celeron II 566/600/633 which can be easlily oc-ed to 100Mhz FSB.
Check out: http://overclockers.cssftware.com/cpudb/index.cfm for results.

I'm running a Celeron II 566@850 Mhz which performs like a non-oc ...

A while ago I read that de-installing those intel ATA drivers followed by re-installing them should fix the extra CPU load issue.
Tried that & actually noticed a decrease in cpu activity myself.

This was on a CUSL2-C. One thing I don't like about this board is the lack of 2 additional IDE ...

CPU cooling is essential nowadays, especially for AMD cpus.
I even read about lowering the vcore in the BIOS causing a more stable system.
Also use termal paste between the heatsink & the cpu to have the heat dissipated.

If you have a via kt133 chipset, also make sure you do have the latest via 4 ...

Hi,

Can anyone help me to get a STS-4000 program to follow the panning envelope drawn in Sonar v1.02 (or Cakewalk 9)? Btw I'm using the individual outputs of the STS, not the stereo outs.

I just want my sound to be going from left to right, but Pulsar doesn't seem to react to panning changes in ...
