As i already own a Gina20 soundcard, 'd like to avoid to have to pay for something i don't need (even if the Direct mode will get rid of the latency prob).

That's true for playback of your mix

But when your in the composing "process" of a tune with the use of so attracive synthesizers/instruments of pulsar, there u need realtime (10 ms max).

& what 'bout the readme file from CW for the 3.01 update ? did steinberg made a patch ?

I would love to be a pulsarian (XTC at this time). In fact i was about to buy it this afternoon. But the salesman warn me for the latency prob : told me 1)he made some tests with various soundcard & couldn't achieve a better latency than 20 ms; 2) new finalized driver ...

I think about buying a pulsar II or XTC system soon.
So i've been reading a lot topic on several forum here & i must say i'm a bit disapointed.

I'm currently using VST5 with Gstudio on a PIII 600 E & now i'd like to use those Virtual Analog synth around.
