ok it seems that i will have to set the scope system to slave if i want to use the adat i/o on the pro card. The rme card only has 3 options to set the card autosync, master, wordclock no option of setting it to slave. Input into the project card as master and rme in autosync mode works fine and ...

the card that is sending the signal to the scope adat's is a rme 9652 and as far as i can tell in the rme settings it is set to automatically adjust to master or slave depending on the signal, it has an auto sync function. I dont see anything to set master or slave for the rme but if the project ...

ok made a discovery when adat is connected to the project card set to master audio passes thru wihout problem, the adat set to master on the pro card audio is chopped up no matter which of the 3 adat ins i use.

When i set the pro card to slave audio comes thru no chopping and without problem thru ...

Yes the adat on the project card works without problem.

The Priority is set normal for SFP

Im not sure how to disable the bad i/o

How do you make sure which card is truly master and slave?

Ok reseated the i/o plate but still get this problem box saying module p2 midi input not appropriate for your hardware. It seems to only pop up when i open the synth.pro in the examples folder. thanks husker, thats what i thought but it seems windows wants to install a driver creamware scope and a second driver creamware pulsar II are these the same driver different name or two different drivers? It seems if i use eithier or i get only that cards properties to show.

A quick question about setups with more than one scope card.
If you have two different types of scope cards in the same pc is it neccersary to have the driver for each card installed or can both cards use the same driver?

P-plate problem

Has anyone seen or had a problem box pop up saying module p-plate midi A is inappropriate for this hardware? Any ideas what could cause it?

Also is it possible with 2 or more cards to use all of the midi i/o?

Reading all this info given about the A16 i can see how immanuel gets the Wow feeling this interface when it was first introduced must have been way ahead of its time and its still standing. That truly is quality.

Yes they are expensive and from reading your replies no real gain for audio performance. It must be the warranty your extra paying for.

the folder i should have said was the examples folder that were all in blue letters the ones creamware already made but there were some that didnt change and looked normal, black lettering. I reinstalled scope and everything looks normal now.
