Thanks kindly for the swift reply.
This is good news indeed!!!
I've always been tempted by the Control Freak for its obvious build quality + the fact that it has 16 faders, which already sets it apart from most modern controllers, which as you say tend to be laden with bells, whistles + flashing ...

Kenton Control Freak SE
I know that there is already an "Is there a MIDI Control Surface for Scope?" thread already started here on the forum, however that one quickly became side-tracked into a discussion about Software Digital Mixers.
My question is:
Has anyone had experience using a Kenton Control Freak SE (16 faders ...

Scope is da Bomb!!!
Having just recently switched over to Scope 4.5 alongside Samplitude Pro here at the Studio, and after some initial headscratching getting the software routing sorted out. (It actually turns out to be very straightforward indeed),
I have just got to say ... Wow!!!!!, and Wow!!! again ....

Thread
Yeah, I got blasted into the Ether there for a bit.
All my threads got nuked along with me.
Thought I must have ticked somebody off or something.
Not bad considering I only had made three (3) posts at the time.
I contacted John, and he hooked me back up.
Freeky Sh##t!!

Man, I'm just a happy little poster today.
Lots of questions I suppose.
Actually, I just sold a piece of property, and the funds went through today.
So tomorrow I'm off to shop for computer parts to build a PC DAW.

Is anyone out there using a High Definition Flat Screen TV as a computer monitor for their recording setup?

ADAT Sync
Come to think of it ....
The Scope 4.5 Project card offers Midi in/out/thru does it not?
I'm using an Alesis BRC to control the Mackie HDR, which syncs to it via the ADAT 9-pin interface. (amazing thing is, that the BRC works better with the Mackie than it did with ADATs - no rewind/fastfwd times ...

SATA vs. SCSI
Thanks for the speedy reply.
I've heard that SATA is more than beefy enough & quick too.
Is it truly up to the task of Digital Audio?
I suspect that it is if the 10,000 rpm drives are used.
I suppose I could put in a couple of removeable SATA bays, which would be quite convenient indeed.

Greetings Tech heads.
I'm switching over from a Mac based DAW setup to a PC configuration running Samplitude + a Scope Project 4.5 interface.
My G4 is loaded up with SCSI cards, as I use external SCSI hard drives (Glyphtech x3) for all audio work here in the studio. The system drive is also SCSI ...

Dynatube Bundle
Hello again.
Another quick question:
Is anyone out there using the Dynatube Amp Sim bundle?
I'm intrigued by this piece of software not only because of the 0 latency factor, but also because of what I've seen & heard here: http://dynatube.creamware.com/

I am in the process of switching my studio's DAW setup to a Samplitude / Scope 4.5 environment.
I have been running a MOTU 2408/1224 system with a pci324 interface card.
