Re: Anybody using soundscape/ssl mixpander cards with Scope?
Thanks Valis, I was hoping to get them to communicate internally though via the tdm busses/streams provided by the mixpander card. But, I've just found out how to use XTC mode with my soundscape card and for now that's what I'll do until I can find another way.

iSiStOy, Thanks for the links, this one http://forums.planetz.com/viewtopic.php?f=32&t=26264
had the answer, the 'jumper trick' is all I had to do, I can't believe it was that easy. Thank you for taking the time to find the right thread. :)

Anybody using soundscape/ssl mixpander cards with Scope?
Hi, I have been using scope for about a year now, mostly for mixing. Recently I got a soundscape mixpander card and am now using the soundscape mixer. I had planned to use scope for fx and filters but the only way I've managed to get them to talk internally is with the wdm drivers and the latency is ...

Will XTC work with a different ASIO driver?
Hi, silly question perhaps but despite searching I can't find the answer. Does anyone know if XTC mode will work if the VST host is set to use a different asio driver from the scope one?
And if the answer is no, any workarounds?
Thanks

Re: Question about the tone control on Adern's kickme too
:) ReD_MuZe!!! What can I say? I asked for exactly this and you delivered. When this thread started I was beginning to think I was crazy, I couldn't believe that no one else wanted this function from kickme too, it will make such a difference to me personally and the responses on these pages tell me ...

Yes, I should upgrade!
But until the day it breaks, I'll keep using my 'vintage' setup.

Re: What is your favorite sequencer to use with Scope
I use an akai asq10 for midi or an atari st (yes really!) with cubase 3 for midi depending on the track. Audio in cubase vst on the pc but only audio never midi.
I use scope for mixing only.

Re: Question about the tone control on Adern's kickme too
if you want i can make a kickme that follows the keyboard wouldnt that be nicer than dealing with numerbs.
:o Red_MuZe that would be fantastic and def better than dealing with numbers! If you can find the time it would be greatly appreciated and I'm sure I wouldn't be the only one making use of ...

Re: Question about the tone control on Adern's kickme too
Jah Servant,
Thanks for the response, I understand a pitch envelope. Normally I use various 808 samples and tune them by ear on the sampler until they sound right. I tune the decay part to whatever melody or chord part it's playing under.
If the sound never reaches the base frequency (I've never ...

Re: Question about the tone control on Adern's kickme too
Red_MuZe, Yes, I think kick-me is a musical instrument, that's exactly the issue, I'm using the sound to play a bass line in a hip hop track - I regulary to this with 808 samples. For the bass line I need to play an E1, a G1 and A1. As frequnecies these are 41.2 hz, 48.9 hz and 55 hz. So I have ...

Question about the tone control on Adern's kickme too
Hi, I've been using kickme too for a few days as a repacement for my various 808 samples and I'm very happy with the sound.
But...normally I tune my bass drums to the track I'm working on. Using the tone control is fine but would be better and quicker if I could just enter in the frequency I want ...

Re: Another thread about summing in scope
[quote="Mike Goodwin"]I think that you guys are missing my point. Many people feel that there is a more accurate, more musical result from summing in Scope due to the way it is crunching numbers. I am not saying that the mixers in Scope should colour the mix.
