Sorry, I'm sure this may have been asked before, but I had no luck with the search.

I recently purchased a A16 Ultra, as I wanted to run heaps of inputs into the computer and monitor from within Cubase (I'm currently running a Pulsar I). Since I can only get 13ms latency (does that work out as ...

I agree Capo, an oscilliscope is something I have always dreamt of when playing with synths ... just to understand that much more how the various components effect the waveform.

I think that winAmp possibly had some plug-ins that allowed for this? Perhaps that was just spectral analysis though ...

Hi everyone,

I thought that people may like to check out my latest track, written using a Pulsar, an RS7000 and mixed down on an AW4416.

Yeah guys, tried all the above. Feeding in two signals (analyse and carrier), then when this wasn't working, tried the midi note in. Still nothing. Funny thing is, when I tried the new vocoder, the 'solo A' and 'solo C' seem to work fine, so the device is working (i think) !

Everything was working okay is previous versions. Another problem I'm having (with all versions) is that I can't get the Vocoder to output anything ... of course, my vocoder theory may be a little flat - One mic input, one synth input, both playing at same ...

Hey All,

Just tried to load up the Saturn in SFP 3.1 and got a software crash, anybody else find this?

Also, it seems that 3.1 is crashing *lots*, for un-obvious reasons and at no repeatable time. I would have posted this in the Bugs thread, but .. what to say?

Perhaps my system moreso than 3.1 ...

Perhaps that is the case with most magazines (including e-music mags), but you can't say that about SOS. They have been, and always will be, a fair and good magazine.

I love em.

Don't listen Def, I think your devices look great, and I would personally like Celmo to jazz his up a little.

There's nothing like a crazy looking synth on the screen to impress the friends.

I would like to see lots and lots of hardware synth emulations. They are definetly the most interesting as far as construction and hw comparison are concerned, and great for annoying your mates with the hardware counterparts.

I won't be doing any audio recording on the laptop, all done externally. I was thinking more along the lines of using this kind of setup as another piece of external gear in a live rig -- all running through a digital mixer/recorder.

Hi everyone,

Just started using the STS 4000 and are having problems with notes dropping out within a single program, kinda like they are being stolen from another note. Voices and polyphony are up, so it shouldn't be these, and it only tends to happen sometimes, and most usually on the bassdrum! I ...

Other than PCI Bus performance (I don't run verbs in Pulsar), is anyone aware of any other issues to think about when trying to use this setup?

Other than the cost?

Hey guys,

I was just browsing the Magma site, and it seems there have been some advancements in Pulsar testing using their PCI expansion boxes...

MAGMA's Development Partner, CreamWare, has just finished their testing of a digital audio solution and the 2 ...
