Anyone own one?

I would be using it as part of a logic PC setup i.e. sequencing from Logic, so some of the workstation aspects don't really apply to me.

It would be more the sounds, strings pianos drums etc I'm after. Is it worth the investement or is there something better already out there or ...

Hi Abre

It won't be for a couple of months, around Christmas time I reckon.

I'm going to be a bit snowed under with work commitments for a while but we'll definitely have to hook up at some point as I'll be traveling to Trinidad every so often.

I'll keep in touch

Hi

Thanks for the replies

PC was the main worry actually so I'm glad that should be OK.

I know my supernova will be OK after contacting Novation. I'm hoping this applies to other outboard gear, not so sure about my amp/mixing desk/ADAT converter etc.

If PC is Ok though at least I can do some ...

Anyone ever moved all their gear from the UK to a USA based power supply. I am moving to live and work in Tobago (I've been told it's a US type power supply) and want to take all my equipment with me. I wish it was as simple as changing plugs, but it's not is it? I probably need to check all the ...

I'd recommend the Lounge Lizard Vsti, you can tweak the sound in numerous different ways and without a doubt get the one you're after

I can't seem to get these all to work all at once, Some problems are

1. Reason requires two attempts to start up. 2. When I have Reason in Rewire mode in logic it won't recognis Pulsar's midi in (perhaps this is normal)
3. Odd sync problems, sometimes logic speeds up and loses it!
4. Can't seem ...

I had that problem, in my case it was because I had installed the intel bus mastering drivers that came with my motherboard cd-rom, I uninstalled these and then the DMA box re-appeared. I don't know exactly how I did this, I think it was in the device manager, look for an Intel bus mastering driver ...

You probably need to enable DMA for hard drive? Device manager/hard drive/properties I think. Having it unchecked is the only thing that ever gave me the snap crackle pops!
