Like it or not, Krizrox, politics has a lot to do with music. Just think about that group called "The Moral Majority" who wanted to ban everything that didn't fit their "criteria". And what about those hearings Frank Zappa participated in? What about the fact that because of religion, music is banned in certain islamic countries? This is also closely related to their politics.
If you take an active part in what goes on in your country there is a slight off-hand chance that things might change the way you want.

I understand it Kriz, but you see it in a completely different perspective, perhaps you are very tired of those comments going on into your head all the time, as you are in the middle of it.
For many of us, it is quite different, as we live in different countries with quite different political experiencies, troumas, etc. So politics means totaly different things to most people. We shoud perhaps start by asking you what politics is for you, and I think most people will inmediately agree not to talk about it.
To me, this threads are very instructive, I truly learn from them as there are people from all around the world, and their points of view are very different from each other. It is interesting to leasten to the politicians too, but I preffere to leasten to what people have to say, because with their simplicity and even some times, ignorance of what is really going on, they can tell you a pieces of reality, as they actually are going through the process of such and such political party.
Unfortunately, in a general way, politics have become something degrading and complicated; I am sure all of us are just talking about the EFFECTS of politics, but I don't think we are capable of talking about t6he CAUSES of it. Politics is a hidden matter. Names, tendecies, political representations are no longer in conconrdance with what they actually DO.
There is only one way to get to know about politics, and this is becoming a polititian. And... if you are in politics, you are going to mannage to know only about your area, all the higher areas are going to be hidden also, as they are even more complicated than the simple ones.
It suffices us to get a look at history (which in fact is nothing than a collection of deformations written by the interest of some people) If you take your time and go to study any country in the world by yourself, in the street, and then you compare it with the written histoty around, you can see they don't concide at all. They even say opposite things.
If we talk about politics, it is in a way fantastic as you can grow your understanding of the world, but REAL politics is for REAL pllititians and this is a restrected area, I'm afraid.
We always talk about the political shell, but how would we give objective answers and oppinions about something we don't know?
