ok, i have no probs with large images as i am on ADSL, but maybe you should downsize it a bit? make it jpeg, 1.7mb for an illustrative image might be a tad to much for some, especially when the dev itself is 1mb :wink:

well, its smnaller, but it would probarly be even better if you just converted the original .bmp to .jpg

if you have Windows, go to accessories -> Paint, then load the first picture you posted, then "save as" and change fileype to jpg.

this could be done with close to all graphics progs, so if u are on a mac i guess its easy as well.

Must admit tho, 16 colors rox :wink:

my (98) paint didn't give me a jpg option :sad:

but i made a gif with a prehistoric version of m$ pubcrawlisher :grin: - down to 159k but no funky colours.

darn, i got no software on this machine :smile:

A trick to convert BMP to JPG: open it in Internet Explorer, and 'Save As..' Then you can select bpm or jpg :>

Had lots of fun w the patch, thanks!
