Hi.
I have try the trick to make usable third parity plugins (like three-o-three.. ecc) in XTC:
-copying a dll file in vstplugins folder and renaming with the new device name
-and copying the new device in /scope/devicesXTC folder.

The new devices sounds good but i have this visualization error: they are without window (frame) like other XTC plug, so when i click on a different point in the screen they disappear. Sometimes they are not visible at the first time.

i have make a search in the forum but i have not find a solution.. someone can help me?
SFP4.0 & cuba 2.2.0.33
bye

well all the plug ins with the old preset list are loaded and played normally with the procedure you described but they would have a broken color around them and you have to keep them open (the surface) so to be able to see them. If you close the surface you can't reopen it unless you close and open the device again. You can normally let the surface open and minimize cubase everytime you need to make abjustments...

great!
...so, i think that "no view" at first open is related to "new-preset" family plugins..
ok, please: how can i recognize old and new preset plugins before inserting it in xtc?

i don't know how to describe them... well the orbitone 303 is a device with the old preset list style, (its saved within the device), the preset lists that are saved in a different file (*.pre), that allows you to create different banks are the new ones

So...what should I do to see plugin surface ? For example when I import 303 (by renaming dll), plugin surface can´t be seen even first time ....

Thanx
