Hi guys.
Im planing on getting a better sound card for my laptop. I´ve had my eyes on the Echo Audio Indigo for a while now and was wondering if anyone has any experience of it. Especially regarding audio quality, ease of use and latency.
Or if anyone knows of a better/cheaper card I´d be interested to hear that as well.
Thanks in advance.
Laptop sound card
i personally have no experience, but on the http://www.ableton.com forum, lots of people show their happiness about this card. go and check over there for user comments... a search will bring up lots of hits.
Best card money can buy is the rme multiface or the rme digiface, when it comes to laptop music.
It`s not cheap, but worth the price:

I have the Echo Indigo i/o. It sounds great and has low latency. The only problem with these cards is they have had a lot of defective cards. I had to send it back twice for a replacement. This was a year ago so they probably fixed it by now. If you need to return it then send it to Echo Audio because they will fully test it before sending the new one. The drawback is that it will take much longer to get the replacement.
