Creamware no longer answering emails?

i sent them an email to both germany and usa in regards to my noah, that was 2 weeks ago. really sad in my opinion....no replies at all. i'm going to send another email, if that doesnt get a reply CWA can expect NO further business from me, simple as that. It takes ~5min to reply to an email....if ya cant do a simple thing like that, heaven bloody help ya.
who are you emailing at creamware and for what? sending an email to the wrong place won't get you a quick response...
if you emailed support, then Ralf is usually very good about replying, although with the sheer volume of emails he receives, things can get lost. be patient and try him again. if the problem is answered in the manual, chances are you won't hear from anyone too quickly. one person(cwa germany support is one guy, likewise n. america)) can't answer every question from every user who doesn't read the manual....if you have a problem that needs to be addressed, however, i have always found Ralf to not only be helpful, but also he really LIKES to help....
also, maybe someone here can help....

They only have one person in Germany doing tech support. If you don't get an E-mail, try calling him (Ralf). But first, post whatever problems you have here. Someone may be able to help you!

2) Many people get more than one email in 5 minutes, so even if he did nothing but read emails he couldn't reply in 5 minutes to everybody.
3) Pretty much depends on your question how long t takes to reply. If it's very technical, answering to it may involve discussion with scope developers
4) In these days of SPAM it's highly possible that an email gets lost by an antispam filter, either automatical or manual. Be sure that you write meaningful subjects to your emails and avoid offensive/naughty/power words so automatic filters won't step in and it's easy for a human to see, that this email is written by another human.

Ok guys, you've convinced me that there's someone on the other end 
I basically asked them if they have or are planning to release a demo version of the profit-5. I'm trying to decide between it and another *ahem* similar emulation that does have a demo available. It's kind of hard to shell out $200 on the basis of 4 crummy mp3s, don't you think?
I think a response of "yes" or "no" would have been sufficient. I just remembered the other day I hadn't heard anything from them for 3 weeks, and it got the wheels turning...
I'll try again though, if anything just to hammer in the point that customers want demos.. aber dieses Mal vielleicht in dieser Sprache!

well, about the demo situation. I think it's unlikely we'll see demo's for CWA devices in the near future. There used to be demo's but they were all taken down.
I agree it's quite ridiculous to expect people to just buy a product on the basis of a few mp3 demo's, but I think they were having problems with their copy protection.

I usually don't give a sh*t on mp3 demos, but the Profit5's revealed exactly THAT sound and filter I was after. I admit in very short moments only and I was kind of insecure like you are, too.
I bought it and was totally convinced - it turned out even better than I had expected and it is fairly economic with DSP requirements.
You will NOT get THAT sound from the competeting product - otherwise it would have got mindblowing reviews because something in this quality range DEFINETELY doesn't exist as a native plugin.
I always compare only the the pure synth voice and filter - with no fx applied, as this is what defines the character of the instrument.
In SFP one could add a myriad of FXs anyway, so this doesn't even concern me
Do the single mono voice test on arbitrary native synths (versus any SFP one) and you'll quickly get the idea.
in my personal taste I even prefer the Profit 5 to the Minimax
regarding the demos it's as KoS explained - the protection scheme was somewhat 'uneffective' once you knew the principle.
Accordingly CWA took the stuff from the server.

Well i tried the email addresses displayed on their web site. Is there some special personal email address i have to use?...hmmm......
The question i asked was not in the manual...in regards to external clocking via bnc with the noah and if it was a self terminating unit or if traditional terminating devices are required. And please dont make assumptions and assume i didnt read the manual.....cause i have.....
If i spend a good amount of money buying something like the noah ex, i would expect some sort of support. i would of been happy with a simple 'yes' or 'no'....
but it's pointless ranting on here..so i will stop.

If you're referring to the N.I. version, I can tell you it's NOWHERE in the same league. Creamware's Prophet-5 is very playable, crystal-clear, detailed, and the P52/53 is, well, better than the VSTi's that come with Cubase but that's about it. I have yet to hear a native VSTi sound as good as the Creamware 'heavyweights'. Even Arturia's CS-80 demo sounds lifeless (when is Creamware gonna make one of those?)On 2005-01-28 08:59, doof wrote:

Ralf Bach(rb@creamware.de) usually handles support matters, and as i said, he's usually very willing to help. possibly your email was lost or...i do know that he, like all other humans, dies not respond well to "hey, jerkface", but i am sure that's not the case here.
