Mysterous XTC effect

Does anyone know what is "midi remote", "midi remote fader" & "external effec" in my nuendo's XTC folder?
The official PDF manual dont mention it...

AFAIK, the MIDI things are used by other devices, to automate them.

More on "External Effect" can be found in the SFP manual, under effects. Load it and connect Hardware IO (from XTC, cos in SFP you can connect hw or asio). Save the module and you can load it again later. If that ain't convenient.
