Nah, hanging a bit low to remind me of anything, Royston

- but seriously, the tubafication of string instruments has to be a good thing, no?

Which reminds me, last night at the gig ( before playing the tuba) the singer says "...And now here's Wayne, playing the biggest bong in the world!"

The band's a bluesish/rock kinda thing, and the gig is an industry night - where people can get up & play, with or without us, the house band.

The tuba gets used for the more "down south" sounding music, or sometimes if things get a bit gospel it's good, too

Otherwise i play bass.

This isn't that band, but here's "Brassica" playing in the street in Melbourne a few years ago

Hmmmm, beige suits with Nehru collars, nice!

Notice we've got our own secret-service guy gettin' down amongst it, too
