Hiya

I have installed the freebie synths for Scope from this Forum and although I am not that fussed about some of them, the Saturn synth is one I want to use and it does not show in XTC mode in Cubase SX2.2. I have refreshed the plugins in Cubase and it doesn't appear in the VST XTC menu in Cubase.

Any suggestions would be great. ps I am using Scope 4.0 on a Pulsar 2 card - 6 dsp.

cheers

the Saturn synth was written before the days of XTC by an author of the German Keyboards mag as part of a Scope DP review in 9/99.

instead of blurb on techie stuff he decided a real world challenge would be more appropriate.
He wanted to build his 'dream' synth of those days from scratch in just a couple of weeks.
Anyone ever involved with some C/C++ programming will understand the deeper meaning of this 'schedule'...

so the thing was released to public, but of course as it was - in fact it was one of the best synths of this time - and is still very useful

cheers, tom

It will load as a VSTi if you use the info in the link provided by wayne, but (since it's designed pre-XTC days?) no VSTi output will be created in your host's mixer.

At least that was my experience in Cubase SX...
