http://www.go-l.com/home/index.htm offers a dual chip, dual core P4 clocked at 4.5GHz. With it's humble 4GB of RAM it can't lick the heels of the Atom Chip, but at least they take orders now

And earlier this week, Apple has released their Intel based laptops, outperforming current models by 4 times... http://www.cnet.com/4520-11740_1-6415442-1.html
