xtc mode in max/msp?
hi, was thinking of purchasing a few cards for use with XTC mode, as I work primarily in MAX and have setup quite an elaborate vst environnment which suits my likings. I would like to use the scope plugins in this environment but have my doubst as to whehter XTC mode would work. Can anyone on the list confirm this?
which part, exactly, of this post did you want me to read and or understand in relation to what I posted? I don't see anything in here written about max/msp.
From what I gather, XTC mode works relatively well under a variety of sequencers. But Max is far from that, being more a musical programming language akin to csound but graphical. I just haven't been able to find any posts related to Max, Csound, or what not working with XTC mode. I gather though, from what I've read, that the odds are in its favor. Well, maybe I can buy the small DSP card from a vendor that accepts returns, that way at least I can try it out myself.

I have no experience with MAX and XTC mode, but if Max opens the asio driver in a normal way, and can probably load vst plug ins, then it should work... I had max/msp demo but i didn't tried to run it in XTC mode. But i think MAX and scope (no XTC) would work really good in some hands with knowledge...
