I am sure you will get the desired effect if you run ie a Fender Rhodes through a Marshall or Vox emulation...

If the modeling for these amps is as good as they are stating, I am surprised they are not releasing an ASB (many guitarist would not want to deal with a full SFP system - but I bet they would be very interested in superior modeling in a hardware box).

If they catch on then perhaps they might.

One rack and then you would have to pair it with a power-amp and cabinet.

I don't wanna be negative, but I don't think that creamware will release a Dynatube ASB. There are already many big players in this market with even more resources/experience and also well known and accepted by the customers. Like Line6 Pod's or Vox Tonelab i.e.

nevertheless, it would be nice

Well - I am assuming what they have done is much better than anything that currently exists. If so, then they could compete with the big names. The current digital modeling out there is just ok. If Creamware is taking it to the next level with this, then they really do have something I think guitarist would pay attention to. If it is not exceptionally better then what already exists, then I agree that they don't stand a chance.

There are already a lot of VA hardware synths on the market (more than there are guitar amp emulations) yet that didn't prevent CWA from releasing their ASB synths.

good point, king of snake. nevertheless, I think you can't compare modelling of analog synths with modelling of a complete guitar rig...

yes... and i think (i am guitarist) that :
- guitarists need a hardware stuff (it is just psychologic) as they are addicted to tubes and vintage amps...so the guitar plug ins are rather for those who use guitar samples or audio takes from guitarists
- most of the creamware customers are "house" oriented that is why creamware has focused their developpement on analog synth reproduction
- hardware emulation (ex : valvetronix from vox, line 6...) are quite cheap on the market and creamware knows that it is worth it to developp plug ins that 1) are quite low cost 2)lead to a dsp need and thus the increase of sales...

INHO i think that there is one item missing, among the asb... a creamware Keyboard !!!!!!
1) all creamware fan would like to have one
2) that would help creamware spread on the market

????
