Here is a short Story about my experience with Creamware and the Pulsar.
I bought a Pulsar I pack with SRB and STS-3000 last quarter of 2001.It takes 2 month of learning to handle this hardware.
I was really impressed about the new horizone what opens up for me.
At the same time the Pulsar II comes to life and it has one great offer the ModV2.I was really dissapointed because I bought in fact two Pulsar board(srb) and getting nothing for it.
At Christmas 2001 I gave me a present and bought the ModV2 ,so I was a little happy again.Additonal Creamware gave us the EffectChristmasSpecial, what a Christmas.
Now the V3 software comes out and many new think to do. But we are splitted in normal Users and Pro Users.
I asked creamware to buy the ProPack except the STS3000 and ModV2.No way you can sell our Products and buy it again (what a crap this is).
By the way the Christmas Special this year was to spent money to Creamware and not the other way around.
So when I look back the last two year I see a change in Creamwares´ market philosophie.
In the past,Mails I wrote are answerd in minutes today in days.
Creamware will get into the Profilig of Studiotechnoligie and rip of useres in profi and non profiuseres. If this is good or not - I will let it at you.
Few days ago, I speak with a friend that know a guy who works at the firm that builds and sells the Sharcs. The number of Sharcs that are delivered to Creamware are going back and he speaks a little bit of money problems etc..
If this is true I get really affraid because I saw many good products went down the river (EMU APS,Paris).
Here in Germany I heard only from 3 Studios that are working with Scope.
Well, I am really upset about the future of creamware.
What you think or know..?

A short answer: after almost 20 years (gads, I'm old) playing music, the Pulsar was the best bit of kit I ever bought. And god knows I wasted suitcases full of money on average gear over the years.
I still have problems, but the platform gives me real joy.
And if CW are having problems at least they're still pumping out product - not usually the sign of a failing company. I think their foundation now is stronger than ever.

This page was written over a year ago:
http://www.creamware.de/en/contact/history.asp
And quotes only the first few months after release as 10,000 Pulsars. I imagine it's quite a few more in the past 2-3 years since then.
