Momentary lapse of reason thinking there were actually master group faders on the buss page.

You could group faders, if the mixer has that option, or make a patch with one flexor valmonitor feeding all faders on a multival, then linking each of the multival faders to a midi cc# and these in turn to a respective mixer fader. If you don't have Flexor, you could do the same with multiple Valmonitor modules. I posted that module in the devices forum and it's free!
i agree with atom and another way, (if you don't use mixers with the option of grouping channels) is to use sub mixers.

I'm still missing something. I thought maybe it was possible to control the fader groups from the buss sliders on the buss page. It mentions in the manual that they can be used for sub-group control, but I must be getting muxed oop again. Obviously actually bussing the signals won't fit earnest's needs, as he needs direct outs.

Any Creamware guys who make it to Las Vegas, should contact me to see Scope in action. This summer will be awesome for me. No more sideman on the road. I don't care who the headliner is. I am king of all I survey in Las Vegas with the help of this forum and 3rd party developers, and of course CWA and J.Bowen. There are a quite a few good players round here to enjoy, however they don't care, or don't wish to invest in their art. For this they will be punished by sound.
I am so stoked with my rig, I feel like Shwarzkopf must have felt in Desert Storm.
Using the technology available seems to win my battles also. I have never had the pleasure of turning down work before. My Oberheims caught everyones attention here at New Years, and being a quality rock/jazz cover band, also worked well. Musicians are thanking me for breaking the ice, and telling the booking agents to suck my ass, but I am convinced that my cuurent set up and sound had a lot to do with that. This summer I will add a wireless MIDI controller to my arsenal. I am finally free from my imprisonment with hardware, time to harass the women while they dance like my guitar players use to do. Next thing you know I'll be dying my hair funny colors, and will be using a John Bowen Solaris ASB.

1. Gets out handy remote le(so I know I'm not talking bollocks)
2.connects stm 2448 to midi in
3.sets up faders 1 3 and 5 for group fading by setting the boxes with the minus in them(between the channel and defeat)(1,3 and 5) to 1.
4.right click midi control command.
And yes they all work together with one control command excellent thanks guys.

Thanks for all the replies

Finally I got every to work to way I wanted it by using two STM2448's!
The first STM allows me to set the individual post-processing levels for every amplifier with a midi CC for every processing channel.

The direct-outs of the first STM2448 are connected to the channel inputs of the second STM2448. On this second STM2448 I use a fader-group to control the overal post-processing level.
The direct-outs of this second mixer are connected to the D/A conversion (and amplifier stacks)

Of course there's a lot of aditional things going on in my patch like complex EQ, dynamics, leveling etc (much of them are midi-controlled through my 64-channel Doepfer Drehbank) but that's a bit beyond the Scope of this posting.

I've had many pleasant experiences before using Scope as the ultimate PA-processor and the results always exceeded my expectations soundwise. This is my first time adding midi controllers to this. Setting up and ajusting the PA system will be breeze this way

I do however still not understand why I may not assign the same midi CC to multiple parameters within a device without severe wizzardry... but for today I'm saved!
