I'm having some trouble with this. I have a twin Scope system (S/P/24 and SRB) that has now got a ZLink I/O board fitted to the SRB.

The I/Os have appeared OK if I look in Samplerate setting dialog. But how do I add these new I/Os to the Project Window? I can't see any new items appeared in the Hardware I/O menu!

E.G. There is ADAT1 ADAT2 and ADAT3 but I can't see how to add the fourth ADAT on the SRB/ZLink.

HEEEELP!!!

I use a pulsar2 and a powerpulsar, and I can take advantage of all physical connectors at the same time, so I don´t think this is the problem.
Maybe you have to reinstall the software to make it reckon all equipped I/Os, but I´m not sure...

I think I already answered this one on the Creamware forum...
Anyway, you need version 3 software to use the Z-Link i/o plate. (It wasn't invented when Scope/SP 2.0x was released).
The hardware in/out modules you must use is called:
"Scope Z-Link A Source"
"Scope Z-Link A Dest"
"Scope Z-Link B Source"
"Scope Z-Link B Dest"
And to add the Adatport:
"Scope ADAT A Source"
"Scope ADAT A Dest"
When appearing in your project, the Adatport will have a "(2)" added to it's name=
"Scope ADAT A Source (2)"

I too hope to see Scope/SP 3.x soon, but I'd rather wait until they get all the Pulsar3 bugs out of it

Kim.

UPS!!! I'm not sure that you actually need version 3, as I've just discovered that I have the modules in my Scope/SP 2.05 installation !!!

I've had 3 Pulsar1's in a machine with all I/o's working okay, also SCOPE+Pulsar+Luna all in one machine, with all I/Os and DSPs accessible so it's possible!

I've tried all the above and I still can't get it to work.

Everytime I try to add ADAT A again, I get an error :

EXCEPTION Cannot find the corresponding hardware for C-Plate ADAT A Dest
OK

Followed by

Problem module Scope ADAT 1 Out cannot be loaded onto your hardware

Followed by the first message again.

Anyone got any ideas? I have tried switching the I/O boards around and changing the synchplate from one board to the other, with no success.
