yeah, I hate those actions, no wonder the amateur football sections suffer from brutal agression too.

Totally agree Tom... that was a horrible 'tackle'. The guy should have been straight off for that.

the madness continues
Italy sores last second with a penalty that wasn't one.
my sentiments are with the Socceroos

Yeah it didn't look like a penalty did it ...still the Italian defence was great especially with only ten men and they always looked more dangerous in attack .So "good on them" [thats an aussie expression of approval].... and lets hope the refs get better . I can start catching up on sleep now

no team could score against Swiss, except the Swiss team... OMG
Katano, for a glimpse of a moment I saw your vision come true - but the quality of the Swiss play really surprised me, respect.

cheers, Tom

None of those teams were good enough even if luck went against them, so the results are fair.

Well done France tonight!!
Puting out one of the top sides Spain is no easy task, but France have a clean record against them in competition. The Zidane goal killed the game 5 mins from time when Spain still had the offchance to equalize, which was a wonderfull moment for Zidane just before retiral.

My money would be on France if they beat Brazil

yes think i've seen Spain "walk football" instead of playing football in importent games before.
It was like they invited France to win
- and France start playing great football to the end.

4 more to leave in a couple of days

well, you're maybe right. but what's fair is difficult to say. i.e. the penalty for Italy in the last min... fair or not?

i'm not jealous if a team wins after a good performance, but i'm really pi**ed on if it's like the Italian game...

if the germans play like in the last games, they'll beat argentina for shure. so good luck dear neighbours...

Italy were very lucky

The teams I think could win the Cup are Brazil, France, Argentina & Germany, but 2 of those need to go out next which opens things up

lol, the picture reminds me on a small story in Holland.

In the past we(20 people) were sailing on the Ijselmeer regulary, once or twice a year.

We load some cars with food and beer and drove to Holland.
One year there was a guy we don´t like, somehow. We made much jokes on him, I am sorry for this now.
If it was up to travel to our ships we told him that he must get to a city called Uit.
He just needs to follow the Uit signs on the highway and he will get to this city.
