i'll add pan pots and gains on the final version.

Under each fader there are the left and right connection and the left and right phase inversion buttons.
The 2 connecotrs on the right of the surface are the left and right output of the mixer.

Thanks

This is cool. Would it be possible to add mutes, solos & a master level meter (RHS) to the final version?

Thanks

PS. A virtual 2ch. Scratch mixer module with kill switches would be really cool too!!

Good idea!!!
Scope needs some crossfaders (except of mixmaster, of course ...)

Micron, maybe you could add a master level fader too?

Janni, yeh like a virtual vestax or stanton for modular

Mixmaster is cool, but a modular scratch mixer with frequency band kill switches etc would be something not already there in modular. There's some nice X-fade modules in modular, but nothing with the features & look of a nice DJ mixer

What about something like an 8:4:2 bus setup?

Thanks

I will use 3 4 x 4 modulars on the same MIDI channel, and my controller can move the faders and mix on the fly. I just love the sound of multiple modular patches being mixed together. Makes for real FAT moving pads, with seperate envelopes 4 each, which can be changed on the fly also.
These are the devices that make live playing a real blast. Thank you 4 your contributions. I hope to do the same in the future.

anyone thought of abletons crossfader-assign attempt for a scope/modular-mixer?
could be done with midi conversions?
Cheers,
Jan

Don´t know ...
Perhaps you should get a demo-version of ableton Live 5.
It´s the ultimate Live-performance-weapon.
You can assign any channel to the two sides of the crossfader (A&B).
With this you can mix two "busses" on the master out.
But even if the output of an assigned channel is routed to an additional output (not the masterfader), the crossfader controlls the volume internally.
I LOVE IT!

My partner uses Symbolic Sound Capybara to the same degree. It is basically a hardware version of Live with the addition of an MPC Akai groover. I am learning things I never thought I'd be doing. I hope that Live has a less steeper learning curve than the Capybara has. It is very complex, but I am working on learning his manuevring with the bussing. He does granular synthesis and incredible morphings in real time. It is an amazing piece of kit, at an amazing price. It's synth algo's pale in comparison to SFP's however. But it accels at audio mulching in real time. I have heard several fades with matching BPM's and such, but he does song morphing with amazing results. With forward and reverse too. It's really sick. BTW Janni, your choice of words i.e. weapon, is also my choice of words 4 SFP.
