Hi, you won't be able to fit those items in a case that size. Have you made a typing error?

If you still have it, could send a photo, if dimensions are right for me, I could go with it.

Where are you from?
There are almost two factorys in Barcelona.
They can make cases for reasonable prices
(p. ej. Two months ago, 5 rack case with extra dimensions -65 cm-) was 172€

I´m in Spain. I asked Stilbox in Barcelona. They give me this price: 178 euro for a sigle case: 65cmx40x15 plust VAT.
The total would be 210 euro.
I think is quite enough money for spend on just a case to my like.

What´s anvil?
Do you know any thrift online store?

anvil is a company like Stilbox, it's just american.

a thrift store is a place that sells used household items, usually for charity groups. perhaps there are none in spain....

Garys idea of using a suitcase is a good one, but why not use a new one instead of one thats had peoples sweaty kegs in it.

Something like one of these which come in all sorts of sizes would only cost 30 euro at the most brand new >>>

They look fine. All travel cases I have found here on markets are not hard.
This ones seem look like a aluminion case. Where did you see them?

At the Uk's largest & cheapest 'catalogue' shop, 'Argos' which you can find online here

Maybe you have a similar type of shop in Spain.

Only problems are that they often come in 3-piece sets like the one in the picture. Also, you won't be able to completely remove the lid (top) of the case, as all the ones I've seen are hinged. Removing the hinges would be possible, but a pain in the ass & the end result would be a weakened case. Still, there's hope for a cheap solution

The problem is have to buy the three.
There are many travel cases on shops here, but usualy haven´t the form of a aluminiun case, or they are not hard.
The ones on the photo, also can´t know what material are made with, the way they open..
I would prefer a hard case, like flight case, even it was used

I'd stick with an SKB by all means...

consider the value you carry around, the mess it will be to fit the cables and connectors to a 'regular' suitcase, the look (of the box and the audience) if you carry that box to stage...
I've recently had a 4 unit one in my hands (you probably need less), don't remember the price exactly but it was most certainly below 200 Euro.

at least get a fake SKB, those aren't as solid, but less than half the price.

cheers, Tom

Thanks for your replies.
I think the case may be not a problem for the cables. I need space inside only. Then, I´ll built sections, put foam etc.
I think the look is important, even I´ll be not on stage. Just don´t like a case that is clearly made for travel and cloth.
I have found cheap tool cases. I mean, for screwdrivers etc.., They look fine. Are usualy made of PVC. They are made to put in horizontal, and open the top. Many of the travel cases have zip. I don´t like that.
The problem is that the dimensions of those tool cases, are too low.
I have found one of 60cmx40x19 around 120 euro.
I´ll asume I´ll finally will have to go for one.
The only think I don´t like on that, is that the lid has low depth, so the depth is on the down side. So when I´ll put the things inside, they will be less accesible unless I put something under them, and so, will not take the most of the space avaible.
Look this one: http://www.kitther.com/productos_sel.ph ... 55&start=8
I would want something like this, but with the lid depth the same as the bottom depth aprox.
Sorry if I have mistakes on my post. I´m spanish.

PD: If anyone wants an Apogee, I´m selling one here: http://www.planetz.com/forums/viewtopic ... t=0#150411

Those tool cases look suited to the job, but I'd maybe go for the bigger one @ 700 wide, that way you have plenty space.
