Something that would be entirely new and completely wired for SFP would be speak&spell and speak&math modular modules. The devices could be simplified by using actual speak&spell samples rather than speach synthesis. Use of samples would bring an authentic speak&spell sound very quickly. What would then be needed would be an emulation of circuit-bent characteristics. One of our friends has a circuit bent speak & it makes some crazy sounds . It has various parameters which loop & mess up the loops. Maybe a sample loop length parameter which could be modulated would be a good starting point. Ideally the samples would be layered accross the keyboard in a patch like on a traditional sampler, but with an interface & parameter control befitting a wacky virtual circuit-bent speak&spell & or speak&math.
What do you think?
