Having seen the 'Prodyssey shipping' notice on the Creamware site, I got my local dealer to contact the UK distributer. They stated they had them in stock so I got the dealer to order one there and then. It would take a few days they said.
Now two weeks later theres no sign of it. Today the dealer called the distributer again. Now their story is that they are 'expecting them in a couple of days' !!
So it seems they are lying to get orders. I am well annoyed having already paid the full amount for an 'in stock' item.
Ummm... there's a lot of factors possible there. Why jump to conclusions? I know the UK distributors and they're nice guys.
And why get so upset about it? This always happens with brand new products, get over it, chill out and wait a bit, there's nowhere else you can buy a Prodyssey ASB very easily.
That's too bad. In their defense, Creamware told everyone the Prodyssey ASB's would be shipping right away but then only shipped them to German dealers, though the UK distributor never should've said they had them in stock if they didn't.
We're very happy with the fact, that so many people are asking for our products and it's always great to know, that the work we put into these units has been worth it.
There are many steps required, before an ASB is finally mounted and delivered, so we're far from mass production here. Actually we have delivered small quantities of Prodyssey units throughout the world (and will ship i.e. to the USA this week), but it might happen, that people have to face delays as the units are selling pretty fast - sorry for that.
We're expecting the next lot of SMD mounted components early next week and then will be able to also ship to the UK again.
I know, this doesn't help to get your unit earlier, but we're working on it.
