Random Patch Genertor For Mod Synth

Post by braincell »

The subject says it all. Nord G2 just released a random patch generator for the G2. Come on Creamware you can do it.

You can use a couple of Modular Vocoder Matrixes to connect several oscillators, filters, modulators and frequency modifiers and then just hit the random button in the matrix....the limit is DSP power.

You need to see the way Nord did it. There are parent relationships, temp spots to drag the patches, integration with the 8 variations in a patch, a master control section and much more. It works with every patch. This makes it easy to make new variations. Your way would mean having to modify each patch. No, that would not be practical.

hi,
where can i get informations about it ?

I know the patch mutator, the patch adjuster and the randomizer function, but i don't know about a random patch generator.

What i mean is that every morphing or randomizing function is related to a prebuilt patch structure, so we can do something in the same direction by making modular patches following a scheme and adding some randomizing group...
