modular oscillator with detune knob

Post by hifiboom »

I know I can do this with the help of more different oscillators, but it would be nice to have an oscillator with the basic waveforms ( maybe even with a load a sample wave in loop mode option) where you can dial in the detune amount with a knob....

This would improve the workflow very much for nice big sized pads etc.....

here is a saw sound demo of what I expect:

Hi,

check out Spacef's osc's at http://www.spacef-devices.com/

There's also Micron's C4T A & B modules which we could maybe persuade him to expand with tuning per waveform as well as globally, which would be pretty cool.

Or maybe sombody else will build something new... who knows :)

thx shroomz,

I also though about djmicron, as he has build the nice and wonderful CAT OSCs, which I love...
or the adern guys, but I`m not sure if they still accept wishes for Flexor II

A detuniung osc will consume more dsp power, so a new oscillator would be nice....

This would easier lead to much richer sound for "fat bastards" ( quote scope4live  )

It would be a big improvement for modular workflow.

So, you're looking for an OSC which is actually 2 OSCs in one surface/device?
