sorry

Post by MCCY »

What I'm writing now is in no way ironic or sarcastic or anything like that. It would be nice, to have no negative comment on this post, because I want to speak out officially what I feel. I feel sorry for continuing - in german we call it ENGSTIRNIG - (I can't translate that, but it means something like can't look left or right) all the time.

I feel ashamend to have continued this discussion with eric all the time. I could have stopped long before.

Although I allways said, that one should buy DAS plugins there was much in my posts -which someone could consider as critics, which Ididn't meant that way - which came up in the discussion. Too much critical points which DAS does not deserve!.

I don't know why I did this anymore. Eric and me had some private mails and in the end I have to say: Did I really mentioned all those specific things on that phase-phenomen? I am no sound-engineer, more a want-to-be-sound-engineer and maybe that's the reason, why I was so engstirnig. Today I found a bug in my phase-tester-device. This gave me the rest - I don't even know what is wrong with it, what I know is that one can't trust it. Before I would have said: Impossible, there can't be a bug in such a simple device! But there is one. You know me all from updating every 5 minutes my devices. Now this update comes too late and for that I'm sorry too.
I had some pms- with another member who stated that he does not like too much colouring in a device and yes, that made me thinking too. What is all that colour thing about?

Let's face it:

Poltec is a great device with great possibilities & a great sound. Although I'm just an "expert" for that device I can say: I think all of DAS plugins are great and worth their money.

So maybe now I'll have a better feeling on this subject, although I can't make it unhappen.

Sorry

Martin

Hey, Martin!

Don't mind these critics so close to your heart!
The main reason that pushes them to kick you is a jealousness, i suppose.

You are creating really good things and just the fact that you are doing something might be respected by everyone. People who don't wanna move their ass to do anything have no problems, so thats not really dramatic and strange 'cos you don't hiding silent in a dark place. Keep doing what you do! We like that! Nevermind what anybody talks.

Merry christmas! Warmest wishes to you for New Year!

respect, Nicholas.

You also have made incredible toys for us.
Let us get on with new works and toys that keep the boys happy.
When someone who devotes their time to my platform as you guys have, any small disagreements will not stop the flow of creativity, and until I can learn how to roll my own, I am all ears.

Jimmy, you're the guy who allways brought in such positive vibes on this planetz. I missed your comments for some time now and that distance, which I related to these nonsense-discussions, was something caused me thinking: Is it all worth this?
When I build the 'pusher' module b.t.w. I thought: I'm sure Jimmy will like it. There has to be a usage for it on stage :-)

I hope you're having a great christmas-time - I have allways been inspired by guys like you who bring on in the full positive-power although not beeing like this myselfe all the time.

Martin :)

gifts of moving forward

because of your creativity also , martin, .. we get to look to the present and forward for free devices , not just backward for the older ones.

i know, i'm going slightly off topic now, but life goes on and we'll all find back to coolness and friendly communication.

to loosen up a bit, here's the translation of "ENGSTIRNIG" :-)

English
adj. hidebound, stubborn, resistant to change, narrow-minded, insular, having a limited perspective, prejudiced

French
borné(e), étroit(e)

greez

I anxiously await new toys of yours. Move EQ is a one of a kind that makes my Rhodes sparkle w/ autopan. I am sensitive about my DAW's, as you guys are of your creations. You guys make me play and practice 24 / 7 with all of your " artwork' shall we say, so I take no enjoyment in abusive threads, and tend to wait for calmer waters. I think the tide has retreated, so let's roll bro'.

For the record:
I don't see any reason why you should apologize for anything you did.
You didn't say one word that wasn't correct or polite.
On the contrary, there are two french primitive guys that should apologize.
cheers.

hubird, how old are you?!?

I see no reason why someone has to always bite someone all over this webboard. Sorry to say sir.. but it's too much.. I'm tired of reading the 'bite' which has nothing to do with the context..

Oh, good, this thread won't get forgotten anytime soon now. Thanks beerbr, for resurrecting the thread and simultaneously pointing the finger at Hub for doing the same thing.
