Post by Stompa81 »

Was just interested If there was Any SCOPE owners producing Hardcore or hardstyle ??

If so I am eager to have a listen to what you have created within the SCOPE environment.

If not any Other Producers here that make any style of Dance music I would also be very keen to listen to your Creations.

I will go have a look in the Music Section see what I can Find for now :)

Not a fan of hardstyle, but I am a dance music freak :)
There's some tracks on my website: www.sputnikkproductions.com
Sound is ranging from sorta trancy/progressive to more downtempo melodic synthy stuff.

many goa producers over here... :P

even astral projection is recommending Flexor 1....

Astral Projection -
"FleXor's unique ability to produce lightning-fast envelopes accurate down to one sample is a real joy for us. We have been asking for such power and punch for a long time, and now we can realize with it awesome kick drum and bass sounds with unmatched definition of attack. This is a must-have for everyone who is into modular synthesis"
:)

stompa what kind of sound do you like?

I like some hardcore too,
but the quality range is very large - from shit to very nice productions....
I have some pretty good stuff on some older discs....

Yo Hifiboom,

My main Style is Hardstyle , but i like the tunes that sound Hardcoreish, not the trancy stuff that really should be called hard trance. producers like The Prophet (A.K.A The Massochist, one of the pioneers of this style), Activator , Acti , Dj matti,Dj Rob. 140 - 150 Bpm is the usual speed of a hardstyle track.

I also like Dutch Hardcore , which is what I transitioned to after my Death Metal Days (Cannibal Corpse , Dying Fetus etc etc). I still listen to Hardcore when I need a \break from hardstyle. Most of the Stuff I listen to is the Darker side of the Mainstream songs, Just the Really Aggressive stuff, Not speedcore tho .. 160 - 170 (hardcore)bpm is fast enough for me, 220(speedcore) just rattles your brain out of your skull when your too close to the Subs

I will do A little DJ mix of what im into and upload for u to have a listen too will also give you A reference point of what I will be Trying to do with SCOPE

I used to know a few hardcore producers online that used Scope. One went by the name Skinner. I haven't talked to them in a while but they seemed to like it as much as I did during the time we communicated. I can't convey specifics of what they did though as we rarely actually conversed about anything technical. Usually just random nonsense as most conversations go...

stompa, that sounds good...

I know all that stuff.

I don`t like the speedstuff too...
the old bonzai records samplers stuff is pretty good, too. Especially the early ones. (But I would not call it hardcore)

The secret is Unleashed!! I have spoken to a few of the Big names that have toured here on the Dutch hardcore / Hardstyle scene and most of them say .. "Just Vsts and Fruity loops or Cubase.... yaaaaa ... das is guut"

Sneaky Dutchmen  ( I can say that because most of my family is Dutch)
