Suggested KLANGBOX Applications

For studio and live use — direct playable using your MIDI keyboard, instant sound selection via MIDI program-change messages

Intuitive modification of KLANG using the controls of your keyboard

Creative and expressive sound tweaking using MIDI controller units, for example, when performing at the club

Comprehensive sound design and programming using the GUI-based software editor, recording of sound changes in your preferred software sequencer (allowing for creating complex changes over time for songs and live situations)

Expansion of existing ASB-Instruments–a KLANGBOX can be programmed using the controls of your ASB desktop unit

I just read the manual, and this can be used on 2 DAW's @ once !! I will have a well lit 2 x large LCD controller for Solaris on DAW #1, and the bottom row of knobs 4 ProWave on DAW #2. Awesome. That leaves these 2 x Dogs pictured below for SFP.

On my 1U keyboard drawer is the only place for it to go.They are the same size, and I could always move it. But the Kurzweil ribbon controller is on 1 x 88. So room is limited. But I would love to put it on the bottom KS88, and just leave 2 x faders, one for B2003 drwabar groupings, and one for Master outs from DAW #1. This is gonna really help on stage.

I would love to lie and say yes. But it aint no NEKO.

I saw the Novation and loved it's layout, but it was missing 63 keys. I even contemplated lining up 4 of 'em next to each other and thought how radical that would be, but I never knew you could buy just the top half. That's very marketable, and smart. I had to buy it.

It's a dream come true. Anna Luse is a such a riot, and he has great little thoughts. Thanks again for posting it.

It is perfect for me. The top row for Solaris, and the bottom row for ProWave. Now I'm really starting to get every little detail dialed in. Those black little knobs on my 88'a are great, but you can't see them very well, and for synths the KS's are great, but you need a little light, and on stage that ain't cool fiddling w/ shit and squinting sround. These little LCD's are a Godsend.

At most gigs my rig is 8 to 10- feet behind me, and I'm almost to the point where I can play, and control eveything from the 88's w/o going to the DAW's. It's a keyboard player thing. Just organization and the right gear.

It's my opinion, but when a keyboard player is always tweaking his rig, and showing his big ass towards everybody's face, I find that unorganized, and bush league. Second only to a lame chick singer who plays a tambourine for 32 bars and then chucks it somewhere w/o muting the miniature little cymbals.

I will let you know how this things ticks next week,

Keep Up The Work In The Patch Thread, I surely Appreciate It,

The 2 x KS88's are made 4 SFP Live and in the studio, or @ home. Hell I even drag 'em out back when I swim or Barbeque !!

It sucks too !! Sweetwater left a message on my service apologizing about the 3 week delay. But all of the distributors play the same game, as Novation decides how many to build based on pre sales and blah,..blah,...blah.

That's what you get when you shop out of state. I should have called GaryB, actually I wished he lived in Vegas, instead of Mexico, ( sorry, I mean California ).

So I will drag the thread back up then, unless Anna Luse has more secrets before Musikmesse.
