can someone advice me please.
Cracks and pops when recording with adobe audition 2.0
if audition and cubase are being used at the same time, you should use the multimedia driver(24bit wav in scope).
open the task manger(cntrl/alt/del) and go to the processes tab. find audition and sfp or scope. right click, choose "set priority" and for audition set to "above normal" and for scope set to low. this should allow proper allotment of resources for two heavy applications like audition and cubase.

what graphic card are you using? what are the specs on your machine?
have you done this? go to control panel/system/advanced/performance and check "adjust for the best performance" on the visual effects tab, and then on the advanced tab, set processor scheduling to "backround services".
this should work, depending on how heavy your cubase project is and how many plugins you're using in cubase. personally, i use samplitude or magix music studio(audio studio from the music studio suite is samplitude lite) for mixdown purposes, what you're trying to do should work, but you can always just record to another stereo track in cubase(from cubase to scope and back to cubase, no problem).

The graphic card i'm using is pci express asus 7300 gs silent
6600e conroe, 2 gb ddr2 800mhz, mb is asus p5w dh deluxe
pulsar 1 and srb 1 and scope 2
3 hard drives 1 for windows 1 for scope and vsti and 1 for samples
i'm using 3.1b drivers to avoid crashes
i recorded back into cubase(with asio dest) without any problems and i'm very
happy.
But just make sure later i'm going to try to record in samplitude
Thanks for all your help people!!!
